Last night, at around 2 am my daughter woke up barfing. Eight hours and a couple sets of sheets (and underwear) later it was over. My wife can't handle barf so it fell to me to do the work of comforting/cleaning. Comforting includes cold dishcloths for her forehead, rubbing her shoulders and telling her everything is going to be fine. I don't think I have to explain the cleaning part. I also don't think I have to explain that cleaning is the ugly part. I wouldn't go so far as to say I enjoyed it but it's all part of being a parent.
Don't ask me why I'm posting about barf.

why are you posting about barf... oh wait, i was always bad at reading everything.
Been there, many many times. And you're right, it's nasty but part of the package.
Good for you on your plans for radiology tech school. One door shuts and another opens - I believe that and the lay-off may turn out to be a BIG blessing in disguise.
Just think that she will marry a prince because she will have such a good role model...
P.S. One time at work I got shat on by and unknown 26 yr old male...He was in the Air force so I wasn't as worried about infection craziness...He didn't even offer me a drink!!!~
Eek! You're back and I just noticed! Hi!
